In this imaginary picture I would be 21 weeks and 6 days. I have misplaced the camera cord and didn't realize the memory card wasn't in the camera. Boo! I'll find it, but it isn't high on my to do list currently.
Tonight was about the "coach". Clinton jokes that he will be bringing a bull horn to the hospital, so that he can accurately coach me. Not funny, if you ask me.
We are going to IKEA on Sunday! The crib and rocker have been ordered.

Bradley Class 3
After finishing the first 3 Bradley classes, C and I can both say we are very glad we invested some time and money in this. We have both learned a lot of information and looking forward to the next 9 weeks.
Here is this weeks picture. 20 weeks 6 days. Excuse the facial expression. I think this was try #12 for a picture with some light.

Topics that have been floating around in conversation with us this past week include nursery furniture, buying fabric for the bedding, planning an IKEA trip, cloth diapers and breast pumps.

20 weeks!!!!
Half way to the guess date of when Luke will arrive!! I find it crazy to think that in 20 weeks, we could have an outside baby. We had our anatomy scan today and everything looks great.

Based on his femur measurement, Luke is measuring almost a week ahead. Thankfully, I have a conservative OB, that won't change my due date unless he is certain.
Luke did not want to be still today, so our pictures aren't that great. This is the best profile picture that the tech could get and she tried for quite a while.

Thanks to some mild morning sickness during my first trimester, I am glad to announce I am still below my prepregnancy weight. Only two pounds below, but I'm happy with it. Luke is doing great, so the OB says keep doing what I am doing. As Clinton would say, I eat ALL.the.time.

Bradley Class Two
We learned about nutrition for mom and baby tonight. We received a lot of information and resource options for breast feeding. On the way to class, we were talking about the labor process. For the first time ever, Clinton agreed that this is definitely worth putting a lot of time and effort into to prepare for a natural birth. He also said he is ready to meet with the doula, that I would love to use. Being on the same page about birth has been one of my major worries, I feel like we are getting there.
P.S. My photographer was not in the mood to take a weekly picture today and I can tell by the 3 pictures that he took.

Feeling Movement
For the last week or so I thought I was feeling little flutter/pop baby movements. I believe I was correct. Tonight while laying on the bed, it was confirmed. Luke was steadily kicking away. This has made my week :)

Birthing Classes
Tonight is our first Bradley class. Clinton and I are looking forward to this. It is seeming more and more like a reality. We are taking the Bradley Method classes with Cecilia Miller.
I leave you with the first weekly picture. I am 18 weeks and 6 days here.
