Confirmation Appointment

My OB requires you to come for a confirmation visit prior to seeing one of the OB physicians. The test was still positive. The ARNP gave me a list of dos and do nots and then said I needed to go see my cardiologist. This was NOT what I wanted to hear at what should be an exciting appointment. She is concerned with some stuff that was found by mistake on an electrocardiogram in 2006. Cardiologist appointment is set for April 7th and I have faith that he will tell me all is well.

Spotting

I have read that spotting is normal in your first trimester multiple times. No matter how many times I read it, I still worry. Guess what showed up last night and stayed through this morning? Yep, spotting.

GO AWAY.DO.NOT.COME.BACK.UNTIL.DECEMBER.

I want BBQ

I feel like I could eat BBQ every.single.day. We met our great friends for BBQ tonight! The food was good of course, but I did lie about why I wouldn't be having a drink.

Again, this waiting to tell people is a LOT harder than I ever imagined.

We took Toby to the in laws after work today to let him release some energy. My mother-in-law was talking about grand kids and stuff. I was so.very.close to telling her then that she would have another in December.

It's positive!!

Peed on a stick at 6am. Went washed my face and came back to look at it. It was POSITIVE!! Holy cow. Am I seeing this correctly? I quickly got the book out that I wanted to give Clinton. I gave him the book and then off to work we went.

Before I got pregnant, I said I didn't want to tell anyone for 12 weeks. That sounded good then, but now I want to share the news. This is going to be a long 8 weeks.
