Needless to say I feel like a dairy cow today.

Luke must have known that daddy needed some sleep

Last night was a "dream". I feed Luke around 9. I woke him up around 1 and then he woke me up around 5. Easy breezy, I wish every night was like last night.

Today we will be napping and cuddling while daddy works :)

A Day of Rest

No appointments today and no visitors during the day means a day of lounging and napping. We needed this. Clinton goes back to work tomorrow. I feel good, so he doesn't NEED to stay home. We decided he should go back and take some more time off in a few weeks.

First Pediatrician Appointment

Little man lost to much weight :( The pediatrician said if he doesn't gain any back by Friday, then we will need to start supplementing with formula. I do NOT want this unless absolutely necessary.

He weighed 8 pounds 1 ounce today. He did have 6 meconium diapers in the 24 hours prior to the appointment, so she thinks that was at least 5-6 ounces. I *think* my milk is coming in and she seemed confident this would boost his weight.

Rough night

Our first night home was a little rough. Luke acts like he is starving, my milk isn't in and we don't know his cries yet. Clinton was amazing and did anything asked or what he thought would help.

Home Sweet Home

We were discharged after Luke had his hearing test and PKU drawn at his 24th hour.

We are resting and expecting visitors tonight. Mel, Dag & Sam came up to meet Luke.

Our lives changed forever

at 10:15 am our little boy was born.

Walter Luke weighed 9 pounds 8 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long.
